in the shape of humans,
pretending to be alive,
speaking promises of pitiful lies,
playing games of life and death,
finishing with nothing then
crying out for more,
creating sanity among the madness,
speaking of high and noble causes,
dripping with truth,
screaming about integrity,
covering the self-absorbing greed,
unleashing the putrid vile,
smashing innocent faces
into bloody pulp
in the name of bottom lines
and profit margins.
