Everything I Need

walking in the darkness,

the pain grows stronger,

becoming more than I think

my body can bear,

with every breath, with every step,

You teach me the value of mercy,

You show me the price of suffering;

You are the potter,

I am just the clay,

with You I have everything I need;

this body fades,

time turns everything into rust,

being with You is all that matters,

walking with You all that I desire,
