living

Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”   Mark 5:36

you said you’d never forget,

but even now the face fades,

the memories die,

slipping away like daylight

into the approaching night,

and you know it will be

the same for you;

life is for the living,

not the dead;

there is a hope,

there is a life,

there is a way;

don’t be afraid,

just believe.
