No Turning Back

Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”   Mark 5:36

time moves on,

energy fades,

the end approaches;

no turning back;

life ends,

life begins,

this is the way of things;

there’s never enough;

do not be afraid,

just believe;

fighting all done,

no more suffering

no more pain,

no more darkness

no more doubt,

the race has been run,

the war is over;

home just a sunrise away;

memories all that are left,

as everyone and everything slowly fades,

your face lingers on,

but in the end even it

silently disappears,

never again,

no more.
