Father, see my weakness,

forgive my iniquities,

have mercy on my trespasses,

do not leave me here

to face the fate I so richly deserve;

amidst all the chaos and confusion

have I but one desire,

through all the aimless drifting and wandering

have I loved You;

let Your light shine through the night,

let Your glory be seen by all,

let Your will be done on earth

as it is in heaven;

let me be Your servant

time moves on,

this earthly body crumbles and fades,

the things of this world come and go,

yet Your love endures forever;

soon the pain and suffering will pass,

soon the fear and doubt will be gone,

soon I shall be with You

for all my days.
