something special

“If you can’t say it in one page,

then it isn’t worth saying;” he says,

“anything more than one page is a waste!”

I tend to agree,

but sometimes you need just

a little bit more,

sometimes there’s loose ends,

overflow,

excess;

sometimes one page

just isn’t enough;

the problem with most, is an

ill conceived notion that quantity

is what counts, when just the

opposite is true,

less is more,

passion the key,

with just a dash of mystery;

one word with clarity and conviction,

is worth a dozen without;

start with a mound of meat,

cut and chop, until only

the bone is left,

leave them thinking about meat

never tasted;

then you got something special.
